Dr Vishal Maniar, an experienced Ophthalmologist/Eye Surgeon with 17 years in the field, is the founder and director of Dhiren Eye Clinic, Dombivali. A graduate of Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (2005) and a DNB in Ophthalmology from the National Board of Examination, India (2010), Dr. Maniar is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care.

Client’s Vision

In expanding Dhiren Eye Clinic from Matunga to Dombivali, Dr. Maniar’s vision was to create a minimalistic yet innovative healthcare facility design. The goal was to establish an eye care clinic that blends simplicity with cutting-edge design, fostering a soothing and engaging patient environment within a specific budget. This vision reflects the evolving standards in healthcare facility design and architecture.

Our Approach for Executing the Project

Our approach is centred on maximizing creativity and functionality in healthcare space design. Innovative design solutions were employed to utilise the limited floor space fully, enhancing patient care efficiency. This approach underscores our expertise in designing for healthcare spaces, where functionality and patient comfort are paramount.

Salient Features of This Project

  • The waiting area’s asymmetrical layout is fully utilised for optimal space efficiency.
  • A dedicated reception, spacious waiting area, and an in-house optical and pharmacy store offer convenience and accessibility.
  • The visual depth and impact are achieved through the strategic use of paint colours, textures, wallpapers, and lighting techniques, underscoring the importance of ambience in healthcare design.
  • The Ophthalmic OT features HEPA filters, and the recovery area is equipped with recliner beds and a separate nurse station for efficient patient care.

Our Achievements through This Project

The project resulted in a minimalistic and modern facility encompassing all eye care diagnostics and treatment services under one roof. Our design showcases how healthcare facility design and architecture can be aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, aligning with the latest trends in designing healthcare spaces
